Hiking & Snowshoeing

The Shawangunk Ridge and Catskill mountains are full of carriage roads and foot paths. Throughout the seasons, we offer guided hiking and snowshoeing as conditions allow. If you would like to see some of the treasures in the area, consider having one of our guides show you.

We offer both half-day and full-day hikes.
Our half-days are about 3 to 4 hours long and full days up to 8 hours, and we provide the day passes as required.

Experience climbing in New York . Alpine Endeavors provides rock climbing instruction, ice climbing instruction, and guided climbs daily in the Gunks (Shawangunks - Mohonk Preserve and the Peter's Kill Climbing Area in Minnewaska State Park), Catskills, and Adirondacks with AMGA Certified & New York State Licensed Climbing Guides.We also operate daily for rock climbing in Connecticut at Ragged Mountain and other locations across the state.
