Rock Climbing Instruction

We offer rock climbing instruction daily in the Gunks and Adirondacks for all climbing abilities and are here to help you learn. We believe everybody learns differently - therefore we always try to tailor the day around your needs and previous experiences.

Our programs listed below are offered daily upon reservation. All the necessary technical climbing equipment, as well as any day passes needed, are provided.

General Skills:

Introduction to Rock Climbing
A half-day program for the person with no previous experience who wants to see what climbing is all about.

Basic Rock
This is for anybody who wants to learn how to rock climb. If you have little or no climbing experience, or you need a refresher, this is for you.

Intermediate Rock
For those who have some previous experience and want to take it to a higher level, we'll cover the skills you need from single-pitch to multi-pitch routes.

Group Rock Climbing Adventures
Are you and a bunch of co-workers looking for a new adventure? This is for boy scouts, church groups, youth groups, and co-workers.

Specialty Skills:

Top rope set-up
This is for those of you who have the basic climbing skills and want to be able to get out and climb on your own.

Learn to Lead
For those climbers who are ready to tie into the "Hot End" and experience a whole new world of climbing.

Self Rescue
A must for all climbers who are doing multi-pitch routes - leaders or followers.

Aid climbing
Aid climbing skills are useful in many climbing situations - use it to round out your repertoire, or to get ready for those big walls.

Guiding:

Private Guiding
We offer experienced guides to be your partner at any of our locations, and beyond for all ability levels.
