Cam Pavone
AMGA Certified Single Pitch Instructor, AMGA Apprentice Rock Guide, New York State Licensed Guide, Wilderness First Aid
Camilo (or Cam as his friends call him) has been climbing trees as an arborist for over 25 years. He discovered rock climbing in 1999 and has been enthusiastically spending all his weekends, vacations, and free time climbing rock, snow, and ice. Cam has traveled to Russia, Italy, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Canada, and Alaska to climb big mountains and enjoy different cultures. He's also had fun climbing long trad and alpine routes throughout the U.S. and Canada. He loves all types of climbing but is most passionate about adventurous routes that combine the different aspects of climbing rock, snow, and ice. Cam's goal in guiding is to provide a safe and positive experience with equal parts of fun and instruction.
