Catskill Ice Climbing Festival 2024
Join the 26th Annual Catskill Ice Festival, February 2, 3, 4, 5, 2024
Choose from multiple clinics on all the skills and techniques you need to get out on ice - from basic skills, to dry-tooling, to glacier travel techniques.
Rates are $195 per person per event for all group events; $230 for the backcountry day
Please note that for the deposit to reserve a spot is $25 per person, the balance will be automatically billed to your card one month prior to event. If your card is declined on the auto billing, the spot will be opened up and available for someone else to reserve. This event is non-refundable. In the event of any weather/condition issues, we will offer options such as: relocating to the ADK’s, or Gunks, technical skills and/or rock climbing, or credit toward a future booking.
As an added bonus - Rock and Snow will offer 25% off for apparel and 15% off ice gear for all icefest registrants from the time they sign up through the end of the ice fest. All you need is to print out and show them the confirmation email we send when you register for it.

In this clinic we will cover the concepts of anchor building as well as add in rescue skills that can be used for rock or ice climbing or glacier travel. These are skills everyone should be familiar with, but not many take the time to learn.
